My husband and I have been ordering take out - delivery for more than 2 decades from China Kitchen. I don't believe we ever had a bad meal. China Kitchen is extremely accommodating (egg white only for egg foo young and also large shrimp, no MSG etc) They have always honored whatever requests we have had. In fact, we will be ordering from China Kitchen soon. We have had typical chicken dishes, soups, egg foo young) and all have been great. Their delivery has also been fast and if they are delayed, they will give me the time (which they are always early). I won't question other folk's experience but I don't really get it. This is our go to for Chinese Food. I do agree they do skimp on the rice. I just order 1 extra.

Let me preface this review with the fact that my husband will basically eat ANY Chinese food. The first place he took me to when we started dating was a Chinese buffet. 'Nuff said.
We ordered here after my son's little league game because it was on the way home and it was on a Monday, when our usual take out place is closed. We don't have high expectations and aren't picky when it comes to the food or decor inside.
My husband got sesame chicken, it was HORRIFIC. This sesame chicken makes Panda Express food taste like a James Beard award winner. He's not picky at all and couldn't even eat it. I took a bite because I honestly didn't believe there was a Chinese food he wouldn't eat and it was the worst.
I got Mongolian beef and it was mostly raw onions.
My son got the teriyaki beef sticks. I think a school hot lunch's food would taste better. No flavor on the beef and the "sauce" is just watered down peanut butter.
Lastly, they only gave us one container of rice. Womp womp.
I always take reviews for Chinese carry out with a grain of salt (or shall I say MSG). I don't go in expecting fancy, farm-to-table vegetables, or non greasy food. It happens, and we'll probably still eat it because. I'm laid back when it comes down to carry out, but goodness gracious believe me when I say this place is terrible. -

Let me start by saying I have ordered here once before and it was a LONG time ago. Once is the key word- when I moved into the the neighborhood about 8 years ago. With that said, I have not given it a second chance. I love love Love Chinese food and order at least once a week somewhere for my fix. I decided recently to give it a second chance after passing by on my bike hoping they changed recipes, owners, or something. I am all about the food and the service needs to be ok for me to return at least for carryout. I can only review what I had:
Mongolian Beef, Chicken fried rice, potstickers and vegetable egg rolls.
Mongolian Beef: was very flavorful and the oyster sauce didn't have that fishy flavor it was more of an umami. They didn't put corn starch galore thank god. Some places over do the corn starch where the sauce looks cloudy. I got the small and the second time around ordered extra sauce that is pictured.
Chicken fried rice: was perfectly cooked and I actually didn't have to add soy sauce for one of the first times ever in my life. Seasoned to perfection. They did something a little different where the egg is on top- not sure that's my fave thing but that's an easy fix on my own. I asked for no bean sprouts.
Potstickers: remind me of the old Wing Wah one's- home made, big, tasty filling, very doughy. Couldn't eat them all of the time because they are filling but love them still. The ginger sauce is delicious that they serve with it. They don't over do the sugar.
Veggie Eggroll: nope, don't order. Wrapper is mushy- the oil is not hot enough in the fryer And it cooked uneven where you can tell it was stuck to the fryer basket on the bottom. The filling was not flavorful or good either. I would not order again. I took one bite and threw the rest away. Too bad because their homemade sweet and sour sauce was good.
Price is right. $17 for what's pictured. Small sizes for beef and fried rice. It's a bit of a shack inside, old and dingy looking but I don't mind that. Love a good old mom and pop. They could use a mop though. All and all I am glad I tried it again and bonus... they deliver! I have another place I can add to my list.
Side note- they skimp a little when you ask for extra chili sauce. Two little containers for me is nothing. -

I've tried this restaurant a couple of times and each time I have the same thought...I should cross this restaurant off my list. I find their egg rolls to be really greasy. I have yet to have egg rolls that look like the ones in the picture with their Yelp profile. This restaurant is a carry out operation. The two stars are because the owners are helpful and they keep the kitchen clean which you can see from the counter.

Not a fan. Ordered the dry beef chow fun and all I taste are onions that isn't thoroughly cooked so it has a strong taste. Also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce is bland. The red and green peppers in the sauce still had the produce sticker on it...
The guy who checked us out seems nice but wished we got the breakdown of the cost in general). I probably would try another Chinese restaurant for take out.
